During the NBA Cares Hoops for Troops week, members of the Celtics CommUNITY Crew presented by TD Bank teamed up with members of USO New England to support the United Way's Thanksgiving Project - sorting and packing 100 meal bags with various food items to help Malden, MA and Medford, MA families in need enjoy a holiday meal on Thanksgiving.
In the month of November, the United Way provides over 6,500 families with the full ingredients needed for a Thanksgiving celebration.
